Interns was founded in February of 2009 and is based in the Washington, DC Metro Area.  This website was created for all creative students and recent graduates looking for one place to find internships, part-time work, and full-time entry-level jobs in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Web Design, Architecture, Fashion Design, & Interior Design.

Dominique D Wilmore

Founder + Publisher

Dominique Wilmore grew up in the Washington, DC Metro area as an aspiring Architect. She started idinterns.com while working as an Intern Architect for a design-oriented architecture firm in Durham, North Carolina.  She currently resides in Maryland and is studying for the Architectural Registration Exam while reading REWORK by Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson.
