The Blues

Once I was at my desk CADing away on the computer enjoying some Radberry Now & Laters, (the hard candy that use to be popular in elementary school).  Well, my supervisor walks into the office after having lunch with a client saying, “I want you to meet our intern…” Immediately I get up with a huge smile and greet the client engaging in a couple of minutes worth of small talk.  After the client leaves, I went to use the restroom, (I really had to go!) When I walked into the restroom and glanced in the mirror I notice a slight blue tint in the crease of my lips, and when I opened my mouth ALL of my TEETH and tongue were stained BRIGHT BLUE!  I had been talking and smiling at our client with a mouth full of blue teeth!  I was so embarrassed! My supervisor must have thought I was so immature!

Model Mishaps

I was once working on this model with another intern, rushing down to the final hours of course, only to realize that the model was built at the wrong scale!  So, myself along with the other intern worked around the clock ALL night to rebuild the model at the right scale for the presentation that the senior staff had to make the next day. We came back into the office the next morning after having been there all night only to find that the buildings on the model were all way to short!  Needless to say we had to rush to make more pieces for the model chasing the senior staff out the door to get them all the pieces.  Most hectic 48 hrs of my life!

December "Bunny"

For events around the office, such as birthday parties and holidays, I'm usually the one that takes pictures and videos.  The people in the office love to goof around this time, so I usually photoshop a crazy photo together for their card.  One day I went too far and everyone said they would get me back.  The Accountant had a birthday 2 weeks after mines and since we shared the same month, I wrote in his card "To my December buddy...".  During the party, everyone had to read them what they wrote and I accidently said: "To my December 'bunny'..."  I was so embarrassed to the point I hid behind the table while they took pictures of me.  They would not let me live that down to this day.  I guess karma got me back instead!
